RIAD ITRANE, Marrakesh – A Smart Stay in the City
About the Hotel
Rooms with Local Character
Riad Itrane offers air-conditioned suites with LCD TVs, safes, and private bathrooms. Some include private lounges with courtyard views, seating areas, or private terraces. One suite on the ground floor faces the pool. Cedar ceilings date from the 17th century. Certain suites connect directly to the rooftop and can accommodate an extra bed.
Moroccan Dining on Demand
Breakfast is served in one of three patios, one with a fireplace. Lunches and dinners by cooks Laila and Touria are available on request before 11:00 AM. Dinners include a starter, main dish, dessert, and a bottle of water with tea or coffee. A special birthday dinner comes with a cake from a top Marrakech pastry shop. Meals start at 28€.
Terraces and Pool Access
The property features a swimming pool heated in winter. Multiple sun terraces offer panoramic views of the Medina, the Koutoubia Mosque, and the Atlas Mountains, equipped with sunbeds. Guests have access to a game room and three patios with trees and flowers. A Berber-style dining room and a lounge with a chimney are available.
In the Historic Medina
Riad Itrane is on a local side street in the Medina, a 5-minute walk from Jemaa El Fna Square. It is close to the main historic monuments: Koutoubia Mosque, Medersa Ben Youssef, Bahia Palace, and El Badi Palace. Nearby taxis are at the entry of the souks. The modern Gueliz district is also nearby.
Arrangements and Local Treatments
The team can arrange guided tours, excursions, and an airport shuttle. Hammam treatments, massages, and body or face care are provided at a partner institute, a 2-minute walk from the Riad. Ironing facilities and a trouser press are available. The staff provides information on Morocco and other travel destinations.

Guest Ratings & Reviews
My stay at this hotel was absolutely delightful. The hotel is centrally located, making it convenient to explore the lively markets and attractions nearby. The rooms were spacious and beautifully styled with a modern bathroom that had direct access to a lovely sun terrace. The service was exceptional, with the friendly staff always ready to assist with a smile. Dining at the hotel was a treat, offering a variety of delicious dishes and the freshest orange juice. However, the facilities could use some improvement, particularly in terms of maintenance.
The hotel is perfectly located in the center of the old medina, making it convenient for exploring all the main attractions by foot. The rooms have authentic Moroccan features and a larger bedroom with a bath, offering a cozy stay with a touch of local charm. The service from the owner Charlotte and manager Abdul, along with the rest of the team, is exceptional, ensuring a warm and hospitable experience throughout the stay. The dining options provide fresh and varied choices, though some may find the selections limited. Overall, a great value for an immersive stay with a few minor dining considerations.
I absolutely loved the hotel with its direct access to the sun terrace, which was great! The room with 4 beds was absolutely lovely, and having sofas and chairs in the room added to the comfort of the stay. The hotel provided a wonderful experience overall, though the price could have been more competitive in comparison to similar options in the area.
The hotel is a true gem in the heart of Marrakesh, centrally located with easy access to all main attractions. The rooms are spacious, boasting a private terrace with direct access to the sun terrace, adding a touch of luxury to the stay. The service is exceptional, with a warm welcome from the owner Charlotte and outstanding hospitality extended by the manager Abdul and his dedicated team. The dining experience is delightful, offering fresh and diverse options that cater to different tastes.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel, enjoying the authentic Moroccan features and private terrace. The traditional Moroccan decor added a special touch to the rooms, and the outdoor terraces were a great spot to relax. However, the price could be a bit high for some travelers.
I had a fantastic experience at this hotel! The rooms were amazing with direct access to the sun terrace, up-to-date amenities, and a really cool bathroom. The only downside was that I would have preferred a larger bedroom instead of a suite.
